What’s on in Madrid: musical and flamenco tickets by date

How to use the Madrid show date planner

Choose a visit date and a show style. The planner reads dates from the reviewed ticket listings, rather than repeating a weekly schedule that may change on holidays. A listed date is a starting point: open the booking page to select the actual session, ticket quantity and seat category. If no date appears, try another day or check the booking calendar directly. An empty calendar is not evidence that the whole theatre is sold out.

Choose the language and running time before the seat

Madrid’s stage musicals in this guide are performed in Spanish. Translated ticket pages do not supply subtitles. Familiarity with the story helps, but dialogue still matters. Flamenco puts live dance and music at the centre of the evening, while WAH combines entertainment with a different food and venue format. Compare the profile below before deciding how much of your day to reserve.

Family suitability is more than a child ticket price

Age recommendations, admission rules and themes are separate questions. A younger guest may meet an admission minimum and still find a long performance, loud effects or mature subject matter difficult. Read the individual musical guide and the current ticket conditions. For a mixed family group, choose one comfortable session and leave room for food and travel rather than booking multiple shows back to back.

Keep the Madrid theatre journey simple

Gran Vía theatres, Nuevo Teatro Alcalá and IFEMA are different destinations. Build your restaurant choice around the actual venue. Save the venue address and ticket delivery instructions before leaving the hotel. A calendar date does not tell you which entrance to use, when doors open or whether your route to the seat has stairs. Our venue guides explain the next checks.
